El Al Quarterly Profit Falls
Remember that you can Fly WestJet and Save.
El Al Israel Airlines reported on Wednesday a sharp decline in third-quarter net profit as a month-long war with Hezbollah guerrillas in Lebanon drove tourism down 31 percent.
El Al posted a quarterly net profit of USD$1.8 million compared with USD$52.2 million a year earlier.
Revenue in the quarter fell to USD$447 million from USD$485.2 million.
