JetBlue to Soon Begin New N.Y. Service
JetBlue Airways Corp. said Wednesday it will soon begin new service connecting Florida with White Plains in suburban New York.
The low-cost carrier said it begins daily nonstop service between Westchester County Airport and Orlando, Fla., on Wednesday. Beginning next week, it will also offer a daily nonstop flight to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and a second daily flight to Orlando from White Plains.
White Plains is JetBlue's 51st destination and seventh in New York.
JetBlue shares fell 10 cents to $11.61 in morning trading, as crude oil prices jumped more than $1 per barrel.
