John Hamilton new vice-president, WestJet Vacations

John Hamilton has been appointed, vice-president, WestJet Vacations.
Hamilton began his career in the wholesale industry in the United Kingdom and came to Canada in 1984 with Trafalgar Tours.
He has held positions in operations, sales and marketing with Trafalgar before moving to Fun Sun in 1992 as director of sales and marketing.
In 1995 he returned to Toronto as vice-president for Travel Corp. Most recently, he ran BCAA Travel and was instrumental in the launch of CANescapes, as well as the purchase of Pacific Sunspots.
