Northwest Airlines Announces Holiday Fare Sale

Remember that you can Fly WestJet and Save.

Northwest Airlines (NYSE:NWA) today announced a Holiday Fare Sale offering travelers attractive airfares during the upcoming holiday season for travel throughout the continental 48 United States and between the continental 48 states and Canada.

Tickets at Northwest's Holiday Sale prices are available for purchase until Nov. 21, 2007. Travel is valid Nov. 15, 2007, to Nov. 28, 2007, and Dec. 13, 2007, to Jan. 7, 2008. Holiday Sale fare examples shown below include the deepest discounts on Super Off-Peak Days being offered on select dates from Nov. 15, 2007, through Jan. 7, 2008.

Northwest's Holiday Sale fares are currently available for purchase through the airline's Web site at www.nwa.com, Northwest Airlines reservations at 1-800-225-2525, most travel Web sites and through travel agents.

HOLIDAY SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Purchase requirements: Airfares shown are each-way per person in USD for travel on Super Off-Peak days in Coach Class, require a roundtrip purchase and are available at nwa.com. A ticket purchased through Northwest's U.S. Reservation call centers will be $10 higher than the advertised fare and a ticket purchased at a Northwest airport location in the U.S. or Canada will be $20 USD/$24 CAD higher. These charges will be included in the fare quoted to you. A 7-day advance purchase is required. Tickets must be purchased within 24 hours of making reservations or per advance purchase requirements, whichever comes first, but no later than November 21, 2007. Travel dates: Travel is valid November 15 to November 28, 2007 and December 13, 2007 to January 7, 2008. Super Off-Peak days are November 19, 22, 23 and 28, 2007, and December 17 and 24, 2007. Off-peak days are November 15, 17, 18 and 27, 2007, and December 13, 15, 16, 18, 25, and 31, 2007, and January 3 - 7, 2008. Peak days are November 16, 20, 21 and 24, 2007, and December 14, 19, 23, 26 - 30, 2007, and January 1 and 2, 2008. Blackout dates: Reduced airfares are not available on November 25 and 26, 2007 and December 20, 21 and 22, 2007. Minimum stay: Per the rules of the fare purchased. Most fares require a 3-day minimum stay with holiday exceptions. Stopovers: Not permitted. Upgrades: Not permitted except WorldPerks® Elite and Elite companion upgrades. Changes to itinerary: Changes may be made for a $100 administrative service fee. However, any change must meet the conditions of the new fare purchased. Other conditions: Tickets are nonrefundable. Seats are limited and may not be available. Fares are subject to change. Some portion of the service listed above may be operated by Pinnacle, Mesaba, Compass, Horizon, Continental or Delta Airlines. Fares may not be lower than our already low fares. A $50 USD/CAD nonrefundable surcharge will be assessed for paper tickets issued in E-Ticket eligible markets.
